Here are my 3 tips on how to be mindful outdoors this season:

Reconnect with Nature

Fall is a time for reflection and enjoying the outdoors. There are many ways you can reconnect with nature and find peace this season.

Choose to sit by the water, take a stroll in the forest, bike the canal or any other outdoor space.

Give yourself time

Give yourself time to appreciate the beauty and wonder that surrounds us at all times. Autumn is a time for trees to change colours, leaves pile up on sidewalks, and the air begins to feel crisper. It's also an opportunity for us to slow down and take some time out of busy lives. Go slowly and be in the moment as you enjoy your time outside.

Let your senses guide you

As you explore the outdoors notice what is happening all around you. The trees will be turning their colours and the air will be crisp and cool. Allow your senses to lead you on your way, as you take in the smells of everything around you; listen to the leaves crunching beneath your feet; feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Explore with the eyes of a child, curious and full of wonder.
